Le SURFER 100 permet de transporter jusqu’à 9 passagers sur de courtes distances à une vitesse deservice de 25 nœuds, grâce à ses deux hydrojets entraînés par deux moteurs thermiques qui assurent manœuvrabilité et fiabilité. Ce taxi boat assure l’embarquement et le débarquement de personnel en toute sécurité grâce à son boat landing protégé par une défense de proue en polyuréthane.
- Deux postes de pilotage. L’un situé sur le fly bridge est équipé des commandes principales nécessaires à la bonne conduite du navire, l’autre est situé à l’intérieur de façon ergonomique et est doté d’une surface vitrée offrant une vision sur 360°. Il est aménagé avec 7 sièges « pilote » Avento Pro M assurant confort et robustesse.
- Un escalier situé à l’avant du poste de pilotage intérieur permet de descendre vers un carré 6 places doté d’une kitchenette et d’un espace sanitaire équipé d’une douche, d’un WC électrique et d’un lavabo.
- Le pont arrière offre une surface suffisante pour embarquer un navire semi-rigide d’une capacité de 6 personnes.
- L’embarcation prend place sur les trappes de visite des moteurs et peut être mise à l’eau à l’aide du bossoir situé à proximité.

La coque du GUARD 120 a été conçue de façon à assurer des performances optimales tout en réduisant la consommation de carburant, ce qui octroi au navire une autonomie de 180 milles nautiques. Cette forme de coque spécifique affecte positivement le comportement du navire lors des manœuvres délicates et évite l’ajout de propulseurs d’étrave.
Des trappes d’accès situées sur le pont arrière permettent d’effectuer des opérations importantes de maintenance sur les moteurs tout en respectant l’intégrité de la structure du navire. Le bossoir à proximité peut être utilisé pour sortir des organes encombrants de l’appareil propulsif.
